A diverse audience gathered for the first lecture in Massey University’s “Our Changing World” 2018 public lecture series in late February. Organised and presented by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, it featured politics researchers Professor Grant Duncan and Dr Damien Rogers who presented a lecture entitled Vision or diversion: What do State of the Nation speeches really tell us?. Together they unpicked and read between the lines of speeches by our new set of political leaders. The lecture was podcast and can still be viewed on the Massey University website www.massey.ac.nz
