Laugh for no reason at all – have fun and feel good

If you are looking for that Health and Wellbeing thing that’s a little different, then we’ve found it for you. A laughter session every Saturday – its got to be good for you. They say laughter is the best medicine.
Regular laughter sessions are held every Saturday in the East Coast Bays Community Centre right here in Browns Bay.
The local Laughter Club uses a combination of laughter exercises, breathing, gentle stretches, and relaxation to bring more fun, good health and less stress into our lives.

Apparently these laughter sessions provide the following benefits:

  • Reduces stress and lowers blood pressure
  • Improves immune, respiratory, cardiovascular and lymphatic functioning
  • Increases ‘feel good’ body chemicals, confidence and self-esteem
  • Boosts energy levels, fitness and stamina
  • Better sleep and reduces snoring
  • Provides natural pain relief
  • Internal jogging oxygenates and cleanses body
  • Low impact aerobic exercise

Best of all it’s free and open to all ages. The 45 minute sessions start at 9am every Saturday at East Coast Bays Community Centre, 2 Glen Street, Browns Bay.
