New knitting cottons have arrived
News from Crafty Knitwits, Milford

We never cease from being busy... all good busy though. New knitting cottons have arrived with some really nice patterns. It will be really worthwhile you dropping in for a cuppa and a browse.

We also have some lovely Christmas panels and fabric book panels for kiddies. These are lovely gift ideas that are quick to make up and will be kept for years to share with kiddies through the generations. The Stitchsmith Tapestry Cushion range had been extended to include some lovely new designs, worth checking out!

We also have a great range of Te Mata Fig preserves that will make excellent gifts along with our new and growing range of of Harney and Sons Tea. These are beautifully presented in tins. We are also serving Harney and Sons Teas in the cafe. My favourite so far is the Irish Breakfast Tea. There is also a small range of Harney  and Sons 'Art' Teas. The tea is hand sewn into a bud and once the hot water is added, the bud opens up into a flower.

How the wheel turns!  Last week two lovely ladies from the Milford Residents Association presented us  with a photo of The Rendezvous Tearooms situated right here on the corner of Milford and Kitchener Roads where we are now. But in 1923... 91 years ago, wow how cool is that! How appropriate as we do provide a rendezvous haven for many groups of people including knitters, crocheters, quilters, stitchers, cafe customers and browsers. We are getting the photo framed and will display it for all to see.
