We would love to see you at our Christmas Family Bike Ride around Sunnynook Park on Sunday 14 December from 5pm to 7pm.  Dress up in a Christmas costume. Bring your bike/scooter, helmet and a picnic tea; children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet by the Sunnynook Community Centre playground.

It has been another busy year at the community centre, and I would like to thank all our supporters, user groups, early learning centre, holiday programme and youth programme families for your continued use of our fantastic facility (even with the renovations taking place during November/December). Special thanks to Sunnynook Scouts and the Glenfield Rugby League Club for accommodating some of our groups while the hall floor was being replaced.

We are so happy with our newly renovated community centre, it is looking great. Thanks to Auckland Council and its contractors for doing such an amazing job.

We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Our office is closing at 4pm on Wednesday 17 December 2025 and will reopen at 9am on Monday 12 January 2026. Keep an eye out for the 2026 Term 1 newsletter – it will be filled with wonderful information on the classes that are run from the Sunnynook Community Centre and Kennedy Park Observation Post.
