Cosy interiors for cooler months

Spending more time indoors is the perfect opportunity to add some cosiness to your interiors with touchable textures and cocooning colours.
Winter spice
Cooler weather definitely favours warm, spicy tones and richer colour palettes – mossy greens, rich rust, sapphire blues, mustard golds – and my current favourite, plummy burgundies.
Style tip: Pair rich, spicy tones with neutrals like tan, bone or grey to freshen up your look.

Tactile textures
Accessories are such an easy way to change up a space for a new season, and layering tactile textures. Add blankets and throws in soft weaves or cosy wool. And of course, add cushions layered in fab fabrics. Contrast textures with leather, boucle, wool, fur or velvet to create your own unique look.
Style tip: When it comes to the size of your winter accessories, think BIG. If in doubt, always go for the larger size. Up-size your cushions (start with 50x50cm cushions) and make sure your throws are super generous – all the better for sofa snuggling.
