DEPOT Te Whare Toi, Devonport

Tēnā koutou, and welcome to December! We are excited to announce our upcoming DEPOT Day Out on Saturday 6 December - more info below! Also, the DEPOT Shop and Ceramics Studio will be open throughout the holiday season, so come and see us at 3 Vic Road for beautiful handmade gifts or make your own personalised ceramics!

DEPOT Day Out
Join us across our spaces to celebrate creativity at Christmas time. We have lots of fun and exciting things on offer, including resident artists at 3 Vic Rd hosting open studios and a mini Makers Market, plus ceramic Christmas tree decoration painting in our ceramics studio, followed by a staff exhibition opening at Clarence St, and to end the night, a live gig and EP release with folk band hoop, starting at 7pm. We’re looking forward to sharing the Christmas cheer, so save the date and we look forward to seeing you on the day! Visit depot.org.nz/depot-whats-on for full info and to book your spot in a ceramic painting session.

DEPOT 3 Vic Road
Anna Victoria’s 'Time Well Spent' continues until 14 December. Spotlighting local architecture and community spaces, this exhibition invites us to reflect on all the memories and stories these places hold.
Our December 'Maker of the Month' is Poppy + Sage. Anieszka Banks is an illustrator and a furniture designer, making handmade beeswax candles, including her adorable stacking Christmas trees.

DEPOT Artspace
Sarah Cowie’s 'The Moon Looked at Me Funny' continues until 19 December. In this exhibition, Sarah uses puppetry and fabric sculpture with digital photography and videography to activate puppet creatures as they inhabit lush fabric worlds.
