Harbour Hospice’s flagship fundraiser, Vintners' Brunch, is back for its 29th year in August, and this year it includes three Michelin-listed restaurants in its line-up. The event is known as one of Auckland's most exclusive food and wine matching events, bringing foodies and wine connoisseurs together each year to showcase some of the city's best restaurants and New Zealand's world-class wineries.
Working together, 10 restaurants and specialty food creators partner with 10 wineries to craft a food-and-wine match created specifically for the day, resulting in 10 unique pairings designed to bring out the best in both. Restaurants and wineries then compete for the coveted Vintners' Brunch Best Wine and Food Match Award, adding a layer of friendly rivalry to an already unforgettable afternoon. This year’s line-up includes two Michelin Bib Gourmand honourees and one newly Michelin-listed restaurant. Beyond the table, the day includes live and silent auctions, all in support of Harbour Hospice.
