I would like to say a HUGE congratulations to Dr Sunny Lu who has just celebrated 20 years of The Tian Quan Qi Gong Classes in the Sunnynook Community Centre. I attended the celebration on 24 November where they presented me with a banner for the Community Centre.
Qigong is a form of healing exercise that has a history spanning back over 3000 years. It is a natural, easy and good way for a person to get in touch with the healing energy that is within them. The practice of Qigong has been shown to alleviate and improve all types of conditions and increase the practitioner’s sense of well-being. Classes are run at the Sunnynook Community Centre on Sundays from 3pm to 5.15pm. Please contact Sunny Lu 021 236 0691 for more information or if you wish to attend a class.
We would love to see you at our Christmas Family Bike Ride around Sunnynook Park on Sunday 15 December – 5pm to 7pm. Dress up in Christmas costume! Bring your bike/scooter, helmet and a picnic tea, children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet by the Sunnynook Community Centre Playground.
Please check out our website for up to date information about our classes.
If you would like to go on the online mailing list to receive our Community Newsletters please email snook.com.cen@xtra.co.nz
