New World champion baker
 Once again, our local New World at Milford, has produced a champion at the annual awards dinner for New World staff from throughout the country. New World Milford’s baker, Jong, placed third in the Foodstuffs North Island Bakery Apprentice of the Year. It’s a fitting reward for New World Milford’s owner-operator David Dil-Russel, who knows the value of developing the next generation of supermarket personnel. David, a Westlaker (a former Westlake Boys student), completed business studies and worked his way around all departments in various Foodstuffs supermarkets before beginning a career as a supermarket business owner.

Changes to Milford Rd entrance to Milford Centre
Milford Centre is making way for an exciting new addition. CityFitness will be opening later in the year. To facilitate this, the Milford Road entrance to the centre will close on Wednesday 5 June 2024. Please use the alternative Centre entrance shown on the map here.
