Altogether at home in Devonport

Bayleys Devonport have moved to bigger and brighter premises at 33 King Edward Parade. Channel Mag was delighted to attend the official opening celebrations on Wednesday 30 August to take a look.

On Wednesday 30 August, Bayleys Devonport hosted its official office opening party. If anything shows the problem-solving skills of a real estate agent, it’s making a party a success even with no power. A candlelit event to remember, filled with Devonport locals, the Bayleys Devonport team, and guest speakers for the evening: John Bayley (Chairman of the Board), Cameron Bagrie (economist) and Raymond Mountford (GM for Bayleys Auckland Residential). Hosted by Debbie Jones and the Devonport team, the message of the evening was clear – community. Debbie, Ray and Cameron agreed - the sense of community in Devonport is unparalleled. It’s what draws people to Devonport, and what keeps them nearby. Debbie concluded by saying, “Thank you to our amazing sales team, who continue to stand out in the Devonport community, and strive to give back.” With close to 100 people in attendance, the evening continued after the speeches, filled with love, laughter, enthusiasm and bubbles (a Bayleys must!), sharing success stories of the old days, and exciting prospects of the future. Navigating the current real estate market is tricky, but with the right plan in place, ample problem-solving skills and support from the community, the team at Bayleys Devonport are certainly on the right track. It seems like against all odds, the Bayleys team are destined to make things happen, rain or shine, making their own light on their way.

The new home from which the Bayleys Devonport team can continue to deliver exceptional real estate results around the North Shore neighbourhood is located in a landmark heritage building at 33 King Edward Parade. The office exemplifies the heritage of the Devonport peninsula and this stylish, larger site will allow the local Bayleys team to grow, better meeting the future needs of the discerning Devonport community.

Enveloped by land and sea, their historic slice of North Shore paradise remains one of Auckland’s most aspirational enclaves, and the team of committed real estate professionals at Bayleys continues to innovate, providing the highest level of professionalism supported by a nationally connected network of more than 102 Bayleys offices.

The King Edward Parade premises are a delight! The large picture windows at the front and side of the building let light stream in, and provide breathtaking panoramic views across the Waitematā Harbour. The spacious open plan office with high stud character ceilings has been refurbished in an industrial-style high-end design, creating a fantastic space for the team and their guests to enjoy. Bayleys' new Devonport heritage home is conveniently located beside the wonderful new Dulcie café, which offers a plethora of fabulous eating and drinking options to discover and enjoy. The Bayleys team invite you to pop in, say hi and share any anecdotes and memories you have about their fabulous new premises, which boasts a long history. And the building now has the promise of a bright Bayleys future ahead.

The Bayleys Devonport vision statement encapsulates their approach:
"Offering a committed team of experienced real estate professionals providing a bespoke service, delivering exceptional results to our community and embracing our unique historic village enveloped by mountain and sea.
He tangata, He tangata, He tangata.
