Ocean Hunter Auckland first opened 19 years ago in the CBD, before relocating to Albany in 2019 and then to Takapuna in 2025. The store is now owned by Kat Fairweather, who took over in April 2025 after working with Ocean Hunter in marketing and retail. An avid freediver, spearo and huntress, Kat brings strong community involvement and a shared passion for ocean sports to the role.
