Today, the firm continues its strong connection to the community with partner Lesley Chapman, a highly experienced commercial solicitor. As a graduate of the University of Westminster in London, Lesley brings a wealth of knowledge from both private practice and senior in-house roles, including serving as sole legal counsel for a major Auckland healthcare provider.  

Their commitment to putting clients first is further bolstered by the addition of Senior Associate Louise Walsh. She brings over fifteen years of experience from practices in New Zealand and overseas, including in-house counsel in London, ensuring that Chapman Jones continues to remain a contemporary and dependable presence in the Devonport community.

Both Alan and Lesley live locally and have raised their families on the North Shore. Alan enjoys a famously short commute, while Lesley cycles to work, fully embracing the Devonport lifestyle.
