'Glide Time' was a smash hit at the PumpHouse! Phoenix Theatre's special 50th anniversary production of the iconic Kiwi comedy proved a resounding success, selling more than 2,000 tickets across its 13-performance season, with many shows selling out. Audiences embraced the much-loved "time capsule comedy", authentically set in 1976, describing it as a delightful trip down memory lane. Sir Roger, who attended opening night on Friday 18 September, was full of praise for the cast and crew, congratulating them on bringing this Kiwi favourite vividly to life 50 years after he first wrote it.
