Fiafia Night

Rosmini College’s Fiafia Night was held on Wednesday, 18th March. Unfortunately, due to the rapidly developing Covid 19 situation in New Zealand, Polyfest 2020 was cancelled so this night was a chance for Rosmini College and Carmel College’s 2020 Polyfest Group to perform the series of traditional Samoan dances they had been practising for weeks. There were also a number of other items performed on the night as well.

North Harbour Cricket Zone Day

The annual North Harbour Cricket Zone day was held on Thursday, 12th March and it was one of the last Zone Days prior to Lock Down.  Rosmini College entered two teams this year – a Year 7 Competitive team and a Combined Year 7 and Year 8 Development team.

The Combined Year 7 and Year 8 team played two games at Rosmini against Takapuna Normal Intermediate School and Northcote Intermediate. These were tough games for the boys as they played against Year 8 teams but the boys played with a lot of spirit and learnt some new skills, displayed great sportsmanship and made some new friends.

The Year 7 Competitive team played Northcross Intermediate in a 30 over match which they won.
