A line-up of eager Nadia Lim fans turned out at Mairangi Bay’s Take Note on Thursday, 17 October to meet their culinary heroine in the flesh. Nadia – celebrity cook, nutritionist and co-founder of My Food Bag - has recently published her latest cookbook Vegful for vegetarians, vegans and omnivores alike, but says it’s more a vegetable cookbook than a vegetarian cookbook. With more than 100 recipes that celebrate “beautiful, colourful, bountiful vegetables," Nadia says the book will target New Zealanders who are more aware of the benefits of following a plant-based diet but who also worry about the negative impact farming animals can have on the environment. Take Note owners Christine and Malcolm Mitchell say as with Nadia’s range of cooking books, Vegful is sure to sell out quickly.
